About the SSO
The purpose of this Society shall be to foster, in the broadest manner, Statistics and its Applications, and to promote unity and effectiveness of effort among all groups in the Ottawa area having an interest in or being concerned with statistical problems.
The SSO is the Ottawa Regional Association of the Statistical Society of Canada and the Ottawa Chapter of the American Statistical Association.
