Statistical Analyst- Full-time position in Toronto

One of our new clients is now looking for an innovative and results driven individual to join the Site Quality Operations team of a Pharma/Biotech company as a Statistical Analyst. Reporting to the Manager, Quality Trends and Statistical Analysis, they will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Statistical analysis of Quality Operations testing data for test development and test improvement in a pre-clinical environment.

  2. Analysis of product and testing variation for Quality Operations.

  3. Optimization of software/hardware for trend analysis and equipment validation.

  4. Development of statistically valid programs for stability and other testing departments of Quality Operations.

  5. Perform statistical analysis of stability program results to identify changes in product stability trends and establish product = specifications.

  6. Data and file management for Quality Operations statistics and laboratory information systems.=20

Qualifications required include a Masters of Science degree in Statistics, preferably Biostatistics plus a minimum of one (1) year of previous relevant experience in analysis of pre-clinical scientific laboratory data. Experience in SAS programming for statistical analysis is also required. Post secondary training in a biological science would be a strong asset.

Successful applicants will be detail oriented team players who have demonstrated strong communication skills together with solid computer skills.

Location: Toronto

Salary range: $60K (Please note this is the base salary- a ten percent bonus will apply).
