DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND APPLIED STATISTICS FACULTY OF SCIENCE, APPLIED SCIENCE & ENGINEERING UNB SAINT JOHN The Department of Computer Science and Applied Statistics at the University of New Brunswick Saint John invites applications for a tenure-track position in statistics at the Assistant Professor level. The Department currently offers a major in statistics for the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees, and is in the process of developing a major in biostatistics. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in statistics and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. Applicants with training and experience in biostatistics will be given preference. Responsibilities include teaching, assisting in university academic services and research. It is anticipated that this position will commence on July 1, 2012 and is subject to final budgetary approval.
