Getting to campus

For those staying in Elgin Hall, the university residence assigned for the conference, or staying in downtown hotels, the main entrance to the University of Western Ontario is located on Richmond Street. The road into the university off Richmond Street is called University Drive. Elgin Hall is the building on your right as you come along University Drive from Richmond Street. There is free parking in the Medway Lot behind Elgin Hall.

For those staying in Windermere Manor, the hotel is a short walk to the main campus.

Conference Registration

Conference registration on Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and 28, will be at Elgin Hall. Registration on Monday to Wednesday will be in the Social Science Centre.

Bus service

The London Transit Commission has provided all conference registrants with free bus passes. Bus passes will be in the conference bag.

For those deciding to take a bus from the downtown area, there are two convenient routes. The Richmond bus (#6) leaves from Richmond and Dundas Streets approximately every 20 minutes on weekdays. The ride to the university from this intersection is approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

The Wellington bus (#13) leaves Dundas and Wellington Streets approximately every 15 minutes on weekdays, again an approximate 15 to 20 minute ride to the university. For those staying at the Hilton and the Delta London Armouries, the closest bus is the Wellington bus. Both the Wellington and Richmond buses go by the Station Park Hotel.

Scientific Sessions

Most scientific sessions will be held in the Social Science Centre. A few sessions, as well as the committee meetings, will be held in Somerville House and University College. These buildings are all located in the central part of the campus.

Board of Directors and Committee Meetings

The Board meeting on Sunday will be at Windermere Manor. All other meetings will be be held in Somerville House and University College.
